Initiated by the General Directorate of Tourism, "Vakanz genéissen" is a new exceptional gustatory event that will take place for the first time in the summer of 2022.

The concept: 100 guests gathered around a large table for a culinary "journey" through the five tourist regions and the country's capital.

The six unusual locations have been chosen for their fascinating landscapes, idyllic nature, remarkable cultural treasures or valuable historical heritage.

Saturday, 20 August and Sunday, 21 August, head towards Wiltz!

Wiltz Castle, built in the Renaissance style, is one of the main sights of the town of the same name. Nestled in the forests of Wiltz, it houses not only the National Museum of the Art of Brewing, but also a Tannery Museum and the Museum of the Battle of the Bulge 1944/45. The highlight of the castle's cultural life is the Wiltz Festival. During the summer months, many world stars perform on the stage of the amphitheatre. An ideal and inspiring place for the gourmet table!
